Tooth Brush

Since I now have 8 teeth and molars on the way I decided to take up dental hygenine. Mommy bought me a special toothbrush and some mixed fruit baby toothpaste to try. I think I did a pretty good job for my first time. I plan on making an appointment to go see a Dentist soon.

Bed Head!

I'm getting over an ear infection this week. Hopefully it will be all gone soon. Lately I've been moving around in my crib a lot while I'm sleeping. My mommy says that she finds me in the strangest positions some mornings. Here's a picture of me facing the complete opposite way from where I started sleeping and the resulting "bed head" from snuggling up against the bumper pad!

Hanging Out

I'm still content to not crawl or walk, so sometimes I hang out in my exersaucer. I like to jump up and down in it to work out my legs. Usually I watch mommy when she is in the kitchen making dinner or washing dishes. My philosophy is that crawling and walking is for babies who can't get their parents to tote them around anymore!

SNOW!

I've officially seen my first snow. I did catch a glimpse of a few flakes on January 2nd this year, but this is the first accumulation that I've seen (even if it wasn't enough to make a snowman) Mommy, Daddy, and I waited all day to see the snow start to fall. Mommy and I really wanted there to be a nice snowfall covering the roads and grass so we could do some sledding. Daddy doesn't like the cold or the snow, so he was glad we didn't see much. I'm sure that will change once he sees how much fun we could have together in the snow. I have a little bit of a cold, so it has been a day where I haven't done much. A good day to be inside watching the rain and snow fall. Until next time...

9 Months Old!

Time Flies!

I am now 9 months old!
Stats:
Weight: 19lbs. 9oz.
Height: 28.5 inches.
Eye Color: brown
Hair: starting to grow over my ears!
Legs: gaining strength
Eating: very well - eating puffs and cheerios like candy, love biter biscuits!
Voice: getting louder. I'm working on ma-ma and da-da and ba-ba (my parents don't really know what that one is referring to, but I'm working on it). Occasionally, I will mumble what sounds like "more".

Other things I do:
I can wave hi and bye very well. I also have started to clap! I also like to join in on laughter when other people are laughing. I am starting to wiggle around a lot more, possibly showing signs of wanting to crawl, but I kinda like getting carried around. I'm not sure if I'm going to crawl, I might just walk first instead. I love standing at my new table!

Here is a great 9 month picture of me waving!

Happy New Year!

New Year's eve, we went to Andrew and Carrie Rogers house for a party. They had a son in late November that my mommy told me about. However, I went through a spell where I had a cold, then I had some kind of stomach bug, then daddy was sick, so we never got to go meet Aidan. Finally, I got to meet him! He slept a lot though, so we didn't get to play much.

I thought the new year didn't start until midnight that night. Somehow we left the party at 9pm and I was in my crib sleeping by 10pm. Oh well...maybe I'll get it next year! :)

Here I am with Aidan, and Aidan's mommy:

Trip to SC

My family took a trip to South Carolina shortly after Xmas to visit my mommy's cousins for the holidays. We got to see Chloe, my mommy's cousins daughter, who is 18 months old.

Here I am explaining to Chloe that "yes, I am a ladies man!"

Here I am with Chloe and Dustin, who is my mommies other cousin Dusty's son. Confused yet?

Standing!

I've started to learn to put weight on my feet, so I have this new table to play on! However, mommy and daddy quickly figured out that this table is narrow and I can push it over very easily! Notice it being propped up against the couch.

My Brooklyn Jacket!

Sorry to all the regular readers...it has been many days since I have updated this with my latest news and pictures.

Anyways...the nice lady that gave my my hoodie jacket that says "Brooklyn" on it came to visit me on the day after Xmas. This is my mommy's good friend from high school.

Here is a great picture of us!
